An elder son in the family with a younger brother, he is also a proud father of 2 sons with 2 degrees and 1 PQE, including Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Science in Microelectronics & Physics and Professional Qualification Examination (PQE), Logistics & Transport. Coach W left the corporate and engineering world to pursue his passion in education and learning. As a Certified Trainer, a Certified NLP Master Practitioner, a Certified Coaching & Mentoring Professional, a Certified Time Line Therapy® Practitioner and a Certified Hypnotherapy Practitioner, he founded Wisdom Woods to offer learning programmes for children and adults, as well as coaching and research services.

He was formerly the General Manager of Corporate Development, the General Manager of Business Solutions, Head of HRA, Senior Manager, Sales Division Head and Field Service Engineer for several companies. He has accumulated experiences in establishing and managing companies in several industries, including logistics, education, property development, business consultancy and scientific instruments. He continues to be a visiting lecturer for MBA and Professional Qualification Examination programmes for several institutions including AeU, UTM and AK Academy.

Coach W is a Chartered Member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and a Professional Member of The Society of Logisticians, Malaysia (LogM). He is also very active in community services, being the Chairman of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Section, National Council of LogM; the Management Committee of CILT Penang, the President of Division III, AK Corps, St. John Ambulance Malaysia, Hon. Secretary of Kwang Hwa Alumni Society and Board Member of Kwang Hwa School, to name a few.

With his busy working and community services commitment, he still spend time for sports, especially badminton regularly. He is also a very passionate fan of the Liverpool Football Club since early 90s and uphold highly to the spirit of You’ll Never Walk Alone.
